Glossary Governance and evidence
Review evidence and effectiveness testing
A traceable result for a control that was actually tested.
What is Review evidence and effectiveness testing?
Review evidence connects the question, test conditions, system version, expected result and observed result. It shows what was tested and what can be concluded. A planned test or link to a control is not yet evidence of its effectiveness.
Also record the review scope, responsible person and unresolved issues. The reading list collects such questions for preparation; it grants neither approval nor confirmation that obligations are met.
