Glossary Governance and evidence
Conformity assessment
Assessment of whether applicable product or system requirements are met.
What is Conformity assessment?
Conformity assessment is a regulated procedure for checking applicable requirements. The procedure for a high-risk AI system depends on the system and applicable legislation; not every procedure requires an external body.
A completed quick check, reading list or model card does not replace this procedure. First establish the role, intended purpose and applicable assessment route using the obligations compass.
