AI system and AI model
The model is one component; assessment concerns the system in its context of use.
What is AI system and AI model?
An AI model processes inputs and produces outputs such as predictions or text. A deployed AI system also includes its interface, data sources, integrations and place in human workflows. The same model can therefore have different effects and risks in different systems.
Alongside the model and version, describe who uses its output and what actions follow. Assessing a foundation model does not replace this review of the whole application.
